在澳大利亚 The pool at of an IP needs to be resurfaced (or so the pool doctor says), the cost was estimated to be $10K ($10,000), after recoverying from my impresssion of a cat coughing up a fur ball, it just seems far too much. Its just a standard poo I need some advice regarding a property purchase. Property - semi-detached house Bedrooms - 2 Condition - average needs internal reno to modernise Street - one of the best in suburb Location - excellent Close to schools - yes Transport - 50m
I have a subdividable block 20m x 50m which has great city views from one side of it & pretty poor views from the other side due to a few neighbours trees in front (It wouldnt be practical to remove the trees).
So the question is would you rather live in a rear battle axe block with great city views from the second storey, keeping in mind the roof of the front house would be visible.
Have a 10m wide house with street frontage and pretty poor glimpses through trees of the city?
Cant beat view in my mind.

It is nice to have a good view
Usually buyers are prepared to pay considerably more for properties with attractive views.
I'd go for the view as well.
View, as long as it won't get built out.

I'm going contrarian and saying I'd prefer the street frontage. Although if both 10m frontage places were double storey, wouldn't they both have a view from upstairs?
