We have recently inherited a large 1784 sqm residential property in Perth 10 minutes south of the city. We are living in the house on the front of the block but have around 810sqm that we could subdivide to create an axe handle block. There are plenty of developers in the area offering to help do a successful deveolpment but i am a bit wary. I don't want to get into something that will consume lots of time of which i don't have much to spare.
Am i better off just subdividing and selling the land, or getting someone like Stratawise in to project manage the whole thing for me and then sell off the properties.
My understanding of the zoning is that we could put two dwellings in an area that size.
Would love to hear any advice from people in the know and also any builder/developers that you might be able to recommend,
