Property - semi-detached house Bedrooms - 2 Condition - average needs internal reno to modernise Street - one of the best in suburb Location - excellent Close to schools - yes Transport - 50m The pool at of an IP needs to be resurfaced (or so the pool doctor says), the cost was estimated to be $10K ($10,000), after recoverying from my impresssion of a cat coughing up a fur ball, it just seems far too much. This may be discussed elsewhere in the forum, not sure.

I have a property in Stafford (Brisbane) which is zoned Low Density Residential (CP-LR - LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AREA LR). It is 607 sq mtrs with a 20m frontage.

I have made some enquiries and I dont believe I can divide the land into two. (apparently LR zoned land needs to be at least 3000sqm to be able to be sub divided.

My question is whether I can put a duplex on the property and is this a good investment?

Any advice, ideas will be greatly appreciated.
