I have a property in Stafford (Brisbane) which is zoned Low Density Residential (CP-LR - LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AREA LR). It is 607 sq mtrs with a 20m frontage.
I have made some enquiries and I dont believe I can divide the land into two. (apparently LR zoned land needs to be at least 3000sqm to be able to be sub divided.
My question is whether I can put a duplex on the property and is this a good investment?
Any advice, ideas will be greatly appreciated.
One phone call to the Brisbane City Council should give you an answer.
