Do tenants prefer battleaxe blocks? The rear of this block is not a house but a grassed waterway that no one uses. Still has the open feeling , but feels like a townhouse.
I have the opportunity to purchase one and if this was on the main road the house would be about 50-100K more expensive.
Also as it is only 10 years old, the building itself can be depreciated.
Is this a wise choice?
Rental value of a battleaxe is negligible difference to a streetfront property. Value is affected though, they are less desireable for owner occupiers.
