I have recently bought a property to take up the FHOG in NSW and will be needing to connect gas, water and electricity.
I am overwhelmed by the number of plans there are!!
After 6 months, I will be leasing the property out. Therefore, should I choose plans with no contract, or is this not a big issue?
Had a quick search on switchwise and it seems that the plan for Australian Power and Gas (simplicity plus) is the cheapest.
However, Amex has a deal with Lumo energy with 10x bonus points, which may be worthwhile
We have 10% discount through Lumo. Even though it's a 2 yr contract there are no penalties if you move out - as you seem to be planning to do.
