在澳大利亚 I need some advice regarding a property purchase. Property - semi-detached house Bedrooms - 2 Condition - average needs internal reno to modernise Street - one of the best in suburb Location - excellent Close to schools - yes Transport - 50m The pool at of an IP needs to be resurfaced (or so the pool doctor says), the cost was estimated to be $10K ($10,000), after recoverying from my impresssion of a cat coughing up a fur ball, it just seems far too much. Its just a standard poo
I would like to hear from people who have used a property mentor in their investment journey and how that has turned out and if it was worth the investment or not.
I know people have issue about using mentors and all but i am not looking for why i should not use a mentor or why i should.
Just interested in peoples experience IF they have used a mentor and happy to recommend or not.
Please do a google search site:somersoft.com "mentor"
There are about 11,000 results there that will keep you busy reading for a while
I did google..most posts have comments of why you need one or why you dont need one ! I was hoping to get comments from people who HAVE used one rather than the ones who are still speculating.
let me know how you go in your search..
curious...how do you define a 'mentor' someone with x props or x$ networth
I use this forum to get a lot of guidance..example read/re-read Rixter's posts among others.

For the record, I've been mentoring numerous investors all over Australia for a few years now.
Hmmm paid mentors... If they are successful property gurus then why are they making money by mentoring?

The primary reason why many successful people in many walks of life get into a mentoring role in the first place is because the are chasing significance, rather than financial success.
With many "paid" mentors, one wouldnt be able to afford to pay them their financial hourly rate that they earn with X

Still not sure of the intention of the OP.
If you are trying to determine do people think they got what they paid for, would depend on who, what, where etc.
From a general perspective, if the payment has meant you heading in a direction, with packaged knowledge, that sounds reasonable.
But then why not find any number of potential mentors on this wealth of knowledge site?
