澳洲Australia property FHOG query | Sydney


在澳大利亚 Hi Guys, Ive found a property that has mentioned two payments coming up of $1400 to apparently top up the admin fund and 2 have just been paid. Im looking at a financial statement (basically a balance sheet) for the strata and its all a bit Hi all, I currently have a PPOR and 10K cash in the bank which I plan to use as a deposit for a IP early next year. Is it possible for me to place this into my PPOR loan and then redraw the 10K when Im ready for the IP and then claim the int


Ok, so, I own and claim PPOR for my apartment.

My girlfriend currently lives in Albury, so technically, we aren't cohabitating, and aren't a defacto couple, even though during uni holidays etc she stays with me (for around 4 months last time, but thats not the point)

assuming she wanted to buy property as a PPoR, would she get away with claiming the FHOG ? I understand she'd need to be on title and loan docs herself, and I couldn't be because that would disqualify her.

What wuold happen if, after she purchased the property, I then moved in with her and started renting out my property?

What if I was to keep claiming my place as my PPoR for the 6 month period, tyhen move in with her (or her me)

i emailed the FHOG bored regarding something similara a few months ago

As long as your not defacto, you can both claim a FHOG, you do not need to stay defacto for the 6 month qualifying period. You can move in with her on day 1 and she still recieve FHOG.

If you rented one room of her (wouldnt effect FHOG) you could maybe claim you are not defacto and claim 2 PPOR, if not once you are defacto, you have to choose (at point of sale, not begining) which house will be your (both of yours) PPOR
