Just got this emailed to me through RE.com email notifications.
Three 2bed unit block in Kippa Ring. Asking $575,000 with stated current returns $675 - 6.1% resi yield near brisbane .
Might be of interest to someone on the boards. Please do your own DD. Please note I have no interest in this in any way, shape or form.
Nice find mate. I might look into blocks of units more as they seem to have a better yield than straight houses.
Heres one I stumbled across in Zillmere.. too bad its under contract and I havnt got a big enough deposit yet lol.
I've been thinking about getting a block of units too. In fact I saw the one at Zillmere a month ago, but wasn't ready and have never owned a block of units or duplexes before. But the yields are looking good...
Just wondering if it's any different to owning a house/unit? Any tax implications (eg is it considered comercial or similar as IP). Would it be more hastle?
Any advice appreciated. Cheers..
