在澳大利亚 Anyone got any feedback on the DHA? There management fee does seem a little high to me but that is just my opinion? 评论 Hi Bundy, well although the fees seem high, they include management, maintenance fees (incl. repairs of fixed applianc I have been given advise that coomera in sth east qld will do well in 5 years, but i keep reading bad reports about this suburb, does anyone have any insight to this area? the rental return is not very high but the stratagey is neg gearing.
I'm currently doing some landscaping at my PPOR.
I have a long term plan to build a pavillion of some kind with a gas fireplace something like this www.thegashub.co.nz/Its-easy-to-con...ppliances/Escea-EF5000-Outdoor-Gas-Fireplace/
I have a short term need to pave the area as we really cant leave it like it is any longer (and hosting an 18th birthday in Aug). We also dont have the budget to pursue the heater at this stage (and I need more time to convince hubby we need one )
The area we want to pave is where the gas lines would run if we want to install a gas heater in the future.
Can you put the gas lines underneath the paving without having them connected to anything? Also, is this likely to require planning approval?
I have the landscaper coming to have a look later today.
Actually - I'm with hubby on this one.
If it's cold enough to light a heater outside, I'd rather go and light the fire inside ... that being said ... I am planning a firepit area on the new 10 acres. But that is purely for the blokes to sit on a couple of logs and gaze at whilst enjoying a quiet beer and not talking to each other.
In reply to your question ... not sure ... I can't see why a qualified plumber can't run the pipes and cap them off. I'd give your plumber a call.
It would be semi enclosed, so not all the heat would escape.
I love an open fire, but unfortunately dont have a spot to put one inside (we have ducted gas).
Canberra gets pretty cold at night, even during summer it can be chilly. So some kind of outside heating would be needed if we are to have an outdoor area. One of those portable patio heaters just wouldnt be the same!
