We are currently an experienced Project/SiteManager and an Assistant Site Manager to join our nice and friendly, but verybusy team. As the Project/Site Manager, you will be working on site andsupervising, liaising with subcontractors within safe and healthy practices tomaintain and deliver the highest standard homes. This role requires excellenttime management and self-management skills, able to communicate fluently bothin English and Mandarin; you should also be a communication star, needless tosay that your sense of responsibility and attention to detail aresecond-to-none.
Whatyou will do as a Project/Site Manager
On this position, you will play the keyrole in the end-to-end management of the whole homebuilding projects, you willbe assigned with over 10 houses to manage at the same time, your job will becentered within the balance of quality, costs and timeframe of each project.
Key responsibilities of the role include,but not limited to:
s Scheduling the building process end-to-end, maintaining a smoothprogress
s Liaising with a variety of subcontractors on delivering quality jobsfor each step of the project
s Deciding and ordering the materials according to the stage of eachproject (mostly for carpenter’s job, if you don’t know how to surveying thematerials’ quantity, you can acquire the assistance from the carpenters)
s Booking council’s inspection in accordance with the project’ssituation
s Collecting the paperwork needed for CCC application for each house
s Arranging some other issues on site, such as the application ofwater, temporary power, and probably gas
Profile
s A sound proven track of experience within in NZ residential buildingindustry -- essential
s Practical knowledge of the NZBC, especially NZS 3604 and E2
s Relevant qualifications, such as Project Management, ConstructionManagement, Civil Engineering, etc.
s Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with people atall levels
s NZ Residency or Valid NZ Work Visa holder.
AsAssistant Project/Site Manager, you will assist theproject manager on finishing the job tasks listed above, you will be frequentlyseen between the construction sites and suppliers, such as Placemakers orBunnings; your priority will be to maintain the sound order of eachconstruction site.
