Ms Tracy Tomsett, Senior Associate at DLAPhillips Fox, will share her experience as a Hong Kong expat.

Born  in Hong Kong and raised in the UK, Tracy has an affinity with both Asian and  Western cultures.  After completing her  undergraduate degree at the University of Southampton, Tracy moved to Hong  Kong to undertake postgraduate study at Hong Kong University and to commence  her legal career with the Hong Kong office of her current firm.  Tracy has also spent a year living in  Shanghai where she worked for a local Chinese law firm.  Tracy has experienced first-hand living,  studying and working in Hong Kong.  She  will share her insight of embarking on a career in Hong Kong, including the  ups and downs, cultural differences, common obstacles facing expats and how  it can enhance your career in the long term.”

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

Mr Jonathan Wong

  

Senior Landscape Architect, Urbis Limited, Hong Kong

  

  

Jonathan Wong has a Kiwi and Chinese  heritage. Jonathan born in Auckland and moved around the North Island before  returning to Auckland to attend University. At University he studied  landscape architecture and urban design before working for seven years in NZ.

  

He relocated to HK at the beginning of 2013 and has been engaged in full  time employment as a senior landscape architect at Urbis Limited HK for the  past five months working on a range of projects in HK, China and Macau.

  

  
  

  
  

  
  

  
  

Mr Raymond Kwok

  

Project Manager, SMS Management & Technology

  

  

Raymond  Kwok was born and bred in Auckland. As a proud first generation Chinese New  Zealander, his fascination with his cultural identity led him to explore this  through frequent sojourns in Asia and community initiatives in NZ and abroad.  Equipped with degrees from The University of Auckland and over five years of  project management experience, he embarked on his OE to Hong Kong last year  where he now works as a project manager for SMS Management & Technology,  an Asia-Pacific based IT consultancy. Residing in Asia's world city, Raymond  makes the most out of the opportunities to feed his passion for travel and  experience diversity in the region.
