Thank you for your letter dated XX/xx/xxxx.
I acknowledge the concern you have raised in the letter and wish to make the following comment in respect of the application:

At the time of my interview, I was offered the position straight away and it was verbally agreed by the then operation manager ＸＸＸthat my salary would be increased after a performance review in three months time.

ＸＸＸ　ＬＴＤ．is a very popular brand here in New Zealand and we also have subsidiaries overseas. In late October, due to staff promotion, ＸＸＸ（主管） was assigned to take care of overseas business in Canada and we forgot to formalize the arrangement made earlier. ＸＸＸ then left for Canada in the middle of December and Mr. ＸＸ（新主管） became my designated Manager. At the review meeting on 4th January, ＸＸ and I agreed that my hourly rate would be increased to that of $１６ an hour,（这个工资要求因人而异） effective from xx/xx/xxxx. I had the salary increase as they are quite satisfied with my performance review and suggest that further salary increase is still likely in another three months time.

ＸＸ is currently overseas in Australia for a business meeting and as such I did not respond to your letter in time. I have however managed to get in touch with him and he is willing to write a confirmation letter certifying the salary increase. （当时主管人在澳大利亚，所以就加了这句）

As noted, my salary increase will be effective from xx/xx/xxxx. I undertake to provide to you bank statements as proof once the weekly wages have been deposited into my account.

To conclude, as per my performance review result, my hourly rate will be increased to $１６.00, giving me an annual salary of $33，280.00 per year. I trust that this is commensurate with your VO finding of the industry standard and as noted above, I am confident that further salary increase is possible after the second performance review in xx/xxxx.

I would appreciate it that you take the above into consideration and re-assess my application. I thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Re: Confirmation of Salary Increase for Ms. ＸＸＸ（我）

Dear Madam,

I am writing this letter to certify and confirm the salary increase we recently offered to Ms.ＸＸＸ.

ＸＸＸ is currently employed by ＸＸＸ（公司名）as a （我的职称）. She is offered a starting salary of $２７，５００．００per annum, based on a normal ４０ＨＯＵＲＳ　ＰＥＲweek (excluding meal break). It is our standard practice to conduct performance review over a three months basis. At the review meeting on xx/xx/xxxx, I agreed to increase the hourly rate of ＸＸＸ（我） to that of $１６．００, effective from xx/xx/xxxx, this also meant ＸＸＸ＇Ｓ annual salary is increased to that of $３２，８００．００ per annum.

We will conduct another performance review on xx/xx/xxxx and it is likely that　ＸＸＸ　can have further salary increase should her performance and work ethic attain the standard required.

ｘｘｘ is a dedicated member of the team. She gets along well with other co-workers and I hope she can continue to work for us on a long term basis. If you have any further questions regarding her employment at ＸＸＸ（公司名）, please do not hesitate to contact me on X（电话，传真，Ｅ－ＭＡＩＬ）　.

如果工资不够高，当时听中介说，还可以找其他的理由写解释信．　比如，在合同里附加一些条款，说明在每半年或每几个月后，做一次ＲＥＶＩＥＷ，　到时会把工资上调．　再比如,你的工资是基本工资,但你会每几个月会有分红. 再再比如, CO要求的STANDARD RATE,你可以直接反驳说, 那并不代表全部人都拿那个工资,给出合理论据说明, 有很多同行的当地人也只是拿你现在的那种工资水平,但要强调,你的工作是真实的.

所以,如果大家被要求写解释信,请不要灰心, 要据理力争. 事实上,只要你写得合理, 就一般没问题的.  我倒觉得CO要你写解释信是为了让你知难而退. 只要你给个回音,一般就批了. 所以千万别怕. 而且到了最后一部要你写解释信,能常写完就批了.(我的写完,过两天就批了) .如果是EOI的时候要你写, 能常写完就DS了. 所以能写解释信也是好事一件,起码代表CO在VIEW你了. 总比没消息瞎等强!!!!

我有个朋友一收到解释信马上就自己撤消了申请,至今我都觉得不可思议,心理素质不好的人还是不要申请PR的好

我是EOI下来就查了一次，然后说我工作不够SKILL，要我解释，，解释信交完2周就DS了，，现在AR三个月了，，前几天VO又上门来查了我一次，，而且有说我工资太低了，，我想我已经准备好要再写一封解释信啦。。

大家千万不要灰心。。要写就写。。一般写好了都能过得。。
