对于担保父母移民的子女的要求，上述网站说得清清楚楚
For your child to sponsor you, they must be a New Zealand citizen or resident and:
- be 18 or over
- have been a New Zealand citizen or resident for at least 3 years before you apply for residence（在父母申请居民签证之前，该子女成为居民或公民至少三年）
- live in New Zealand
- have spent 184 or more days in New Zealand in each of the 3 years before you apply for residence（在父母申请居民签证之前，该子女在过去三年里至少每年在新西兰境内停留184天以上）
- agree to meet your living costs for the first 10 years of your residence, if you’re unable to
- agree to cover the costs of sending you home, if necessary
- be able to give us Inland Revenue tax statements as evidence of their income
resident包括resident visa（RV）或者permanent resident visa（PRV）的持有人。
resident visa（RV）拿了两年后了也可以选择不换permanent resident visa（PRV）（比如：RV旅行条件过期后，不出境，RV本身不会过期可以不换PRV），所以RV持有时间可以是两年、三年、四年或者更久。不论是RV还是PRV，满足所有担保条件（收入、居住时间、等等）就可以。
