I saw larger school of Kingie on surface last time. They were just cruising. Not biting at all.

Sometimes they are quite tempremental so one needs to try different methods to attract their attention, like teasing them with poppers and pencils walking dog and SP jigging, with various size and colours too.
If their mode is still not switch on then try berley hard and drift an unweighted fresh squid is the last resort.
At least that's what my Victorian friends do in Eastern and Western waters.
Next time take some recordings and PM me to tease me...

They appeared for 30 seconds, I tried with pencil and my wife used diving minnow. I will get an SP ready next time.

YFT slow down since past week. Beside I have zero experience on tuna. Any suggestions to locate them?

Maybe we should seek Up mate's advice and I do not have actual Tuna experience either, not to mention Yellow nor Blue.
All my knowledge is from words of mouth and reading, notwithstanding I am less keen on the Thunnini species.
Mostly in Portland of Victoria I realise people ofter use hard body lures for trolling and metal slugs shore base.
How big is the YT you can get in your water?

That will be one hell of a tussle man. You may need a robust gear and tackle to subdue fish of at
that size.
