官方的规定是符合尺寸的蟹网在哪里都可以用，只有9月15日到11月15日之间不可以，除了Port Phillip Bay, Western Port, the Gippsland Lakes (也就是说任何时候在Port Phillip Bay, Western Port, the Gippsland Lakes都可以)

Closed season for hoop nets
Each year, from 15 September to 15 November (inclusive) you must not use a hoop net in any marine water other than Port Phillip Bay, Western Port, the Gippsland Lakes or any inlet of the sea.
A maximum of 2 (labelled - see below) hoop nets may be used or possessed in, or on any marine water.

而且我特意给渔政局打了个电话，确认了Port Phillip Bay任何时候都可以用（实际上螃蟹主要在外海，Port Phillip Bay里反而没什么可抓的）

我的理解是海、河交界处比较好，比如LAKE ENTRANCE那个著名的码头，就是海河交界处，沙蟹比较多

去lake entrance的渔具店买点东西，然后问问老板最近哪里螃蟹好抓，老板给的地址一般不会太差。
活者去几十块钱租船去河里钓，螃蟹更大。
PS，买点东西，态度好点，老板不会吝啬信息的
