I just applied the 600 visa tourist stream for my father, and granted for one year multiple entires visa. that's his first visit to Australia as well. on the granted letter it stated 600 visa ( Fam class ) I assume immigration office considerred it's the family class visa since I sent invitiation letter to my father to invite him to visit me.

I think you just fill up the 600 visa tourism stream form and provide as much detail of your passport, financial status, employment status, invitation letter etc
