Dear Sir,
We have received your application for a transit exemption for your travel from VIC to (CHINA) via NSW.
The travel plan you have described through New South Wales indicates that you will need to apply for the COVID-19 NSW Border entry permit. Please apply for this permit on the Service NSW website here.
There are several flights each day from Melbourne to Sydney, you must only come to Sydney immediately prior to your international or domestic flight. If this means that you need to stay overnight in Sydney, you will be taken to a hotel designated by NSW Police upon your arrival into Sydney Airport. You will be required to stay at the hotel until your departing flight.
The NSW Government is charging NSW residents and non-NSW residents returning from Victoria and all international travellers for their hotel quarantine accommodation. Further information can be found on the NSW Government website here.
Attached are NSW Health guidelines which you must follow for the duration of your stay in NSW.
You do not require a transit exemption from NSW Health. This application will now be closed.

之前听说是在NSW health上申请隔离豁免，现在只要在disasterassistance.service.nsw.gov.au上申请入境许可，新州政府自动安排隔离酒店只到你出发那天？
除此之外，请问申请入境许可上的这个“border pass”是什么？没有的话有关系吗？

1.只需申请入境NSW许可，不需要申请NSW health的隔离豁免；
2.“border pass”是指你入境最终目的地的许可（比如回中国，就是需要你自己搞定回国入境），这个之前在其他帖子里也有分享过的;
3.悉尼机场会安排需要住宿的转机乘客隔离酒店，不过我不清楚是否需要自费，以前看到48小时内住宿是免费。楼主有消息也请分享下哈。
