Hi l have a 20 year old camry, l had new front brakes installed, since then l sometimes get a slight squeak noise from the brakes, but apart from that everything seems good, what do you think the problem is, should l take it back to the garage for them to look at it

If it's not that loud and doesn't sound like metallic noise ( like something grinding or touching) without getting to involved you could try and hit them with the high pressure wash if you have one or the noise may go away after a few Hundred klms.
Outside of that you'll have to take it back to mechanic to fix if it's annoying you.

unless you feel any difference – it will just be an annoying noise – if you can't put up with it then take it back...any number of reasons for it...but whoever did the brakes could have done better lol
no theres no differnce just a squeaking noise sometimes, usually when l first drive the car

Pads and discs or only the pads?
Pads only any reputable workshop will tell you its at your own risk in terms of noise and performance

Could be anything from cheap pads, not machining the rotors first or forgetting to install the anti squeal clips.
The break in tips suggested might help, otherwise given the pads or not grinding (ie installed backwards) it has no real performance or safety implications on a Camry.
