I bought an EHI938BA from E&S Clearance centre, ex demo, and the thing is stuck in what I assume is demonstration mode (fully functional control panel, can turn all the elements on, just the induction coils don't fire up/you can't cook).
I'm certain it's demo mode as it doesn't throw any faults, or do any detection of induction cookware (so you can turn the plate to full power with nothing on it and it doesn't error out that the cookware is missing).
It looks like the story is different for every cook top/oven for demo mode activation... and the secrets are held in the non-existent Eletrolux service manual.
Electrolux support have booked an appointment next week for a tech to come out, but I'm really hoping someone may have a secret book of codes somewhere they可以与我分享如何解决这个问题。真的希望本周能够做饭！！
