am thinking on my shed/man cave
for sensors to use on lights outside
lights will be led car light bars for area to light x4 sides separate
plan is 2 per side and 1 in front and back due to size and distance to front fence
i want to use ac to power sensors and then step down to the 12 volt dc to lights about 15 amps dc each light
and and all ideas welcome to sort this
as i have had it with dogs going off tree with kids looking to get into my shed
my point is with height mounted light bars is will cover the distance needed over ac lights and can be in a power fail run off battery as backup and CHEAP with good light cover with distance
light bars will be each side 1 m long bar x 2 and 1 x 1 m front and rear
point here is bright lights to make them rethink action

My solution for a 12V 20A power supply would either be an ATX computer supply recycled from e-waste, or a “平均孔”电源

note the relay was NOT cheap as i wanted to have the HIGH END version for a 4 wheel drive with a lid that can be removed to gain access to points in it as this can handle up to 100 amps even though i am using 20 amps
note reason is screw terminators for the thick wire and easy access for maintenance in the shed all confections are on a timber panel at a height i can access easy
i have used this style relay before in a mud 4 x4 i had and it never failed even when it got submerged in a river a few times up in croc waters so was a NO BRAINIER
