Even at 1000W/hours average use, the current draw is only 5A (rounding up), so there would appear to be plenty to spare...even for fridge/motor surge.
I think the main issue could be the required wiring between the main board and battery (added cost), and/or the number of cct breakers on the UPS panel.

Water pumps can have a 3.5KW nominal power and surge up to 5kw on startup.

They just add the seperate circuits to the main fuse board with a 3 way breaker – off/on/battery.
