The costs for the above will be significantly reduced now and be closer to each other as the larger Sig system gets an extra $850 or so off its price due to its higher capacity.

Go for a cheap LV hybrid inverter and no name CEC approved LV batteries and you'll get 28 kWh of storage cheaper than both quotes.
