Shadow energy minister Dan Tehan has called out Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for handing a former Queensland MP a top federal public service job.
Mr Albanese revealed Mike Kaiser - who was previously controversially appointed to Queensland’s highest ranking public service role – is now set to be the new Department of Climate Change, Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW)秘书长。

A statement from Mr Albanese on Monday said he planned to recommend Governor-General Sam Mostyn appoint Mr Kaiser to the DCCEEW role for a five-year term.
The Prime Minister said Mr Kaiser had “extensive experience” in the public and private sectors, including in a number of Queensland state departments.
If approved, Mr Kaiser will begin his new job on Monday next周。
