A seven-year-old was seriously injured in a crash near Preston which involved a car, tractor and police dog van.
Police said a tractor emerging from a field struck a Ford Fiesta, which in turn collided with a police dog unit vehicle.
An officer was also taken to hospital following the devastating crash, while the police dogs were examined by a vet.
The incident happened on Stubbins Lane, Claughton-on-Brock, near Preston at 11am today.
The road was closed on both sides of the M6, from Garstang Road to Lodge Road for around two hours after the碰撞。
