CPA考试的煎熬终于在6月17日5:30PM结束了, 个中滋味相信有经历过的TX都深有体会, 有耕耘最终有了收获,收到成绩的那一刹那还是挺激动的.
考试终于告一段落了, 我很想很想说一句"life without cpa is so beautiful". 很感谢曾陪我并肩作战, 提供考试心得还有一起紧张一起祈祷通过的TX们, 帮助很大的说.
接下来要做的事, 哎, 就是那该死的PER Testimonial了, 怎么做, 需要些什么材料, 我今天上cpa网站上看了看, 可还是有疑问:
1. 给CPA提供的材料包括Practical experience testimonial(3pages); Recognition of prior experience(3pages); 还有别的吗?
2. The practical experience guide and logbook:
a. Technical Skills - 要从7个area of work当中选四个area, 比如说我选择auditing, financial accounting,management accounting和taxation. 那是否可以选择AUD1, FAC1, MAN1和TAX1所有一级的sub-skills呢?
b. Personal effectiveness, busines & leadership是否也可以选择PER1, BUS1, LEA1所有一级的呢?

需要准备一些evidence去证明我们完成的PER么？我在accg firm里面做，平常就有很多working paper什么的，难道要把这些交上去？这算泄露clients info了吧？
因为我是在想万一CPA audit我们的PER呢。我的PER已经完成了，CPA就让我完成13个月的就好了，其余的23个月已经免了，不过还有一科没考完。所以来看看大家都是怎么准备PER testimonial材料。

我有三年的相关工作经验,那现在剩下的问题就是请ＭＥＮＴＯＲ给我签字ＰＥＲ吧，不需要申请免了吧？

The practical experience requirement update form is the only form that will allow you to demonstrate what you have achieved during the mentoring relationship. Ensure that all relevant sections have been completed before you submit the form.
ur practical experience requirement update form/s must:
confirm the time requirements including the period of the mentoring relationship
indicate the skill areas and sub-skills achieved
meet the evidence requirements (valid, authentic, current and sufficient)
indicate that you have gained the 100 per cent of the sub-skills within each of the four skill areas
be signed and dated by yourself, your mentor and your employer contact
其他的就是等audit你的时候再交， 不audit不交大家说对吗？

递交PER需要自己提前做一些功课。
大的框框自己要看清楚，是不是满足条件要和你的mentor去讨论。
不幸被audit 会被要求提供诸多材料。。。。视情况而定

So we need to submit this “practical experience requirement update form ” ( both mentor and mentee sign). But for audit purpose, I also need to fill in the "log book" and get it signed by mentor. So looks like that we have to provide all work evidence for Technical Skills, Personal effectiveness Skills, Business Skills & Leadership Skills - I had a quick look of those skills, but no idea where to start.

Thank you for your time. As per our conversation regarding practical experience requirement, the best option would be to get workplace testimonials from your current and past employers. We take into account the work you have done in the past 10 year. Attached is a document with a sample workplace testimonial format.
*We will required the reference letter to be on company letterhead from supervisor /manager including the following: state that applicant has been supervised, supervisor's name, name of the professional body the supervisor is a member of and his/her member number. Otherwise unsupervised work will be considered on a pro rata basis of 0.6 of supervised experience. If an applicant cannot provide a reference letter from their supervisor, experience will be count unsupervised even the supervisor is a member of IFAC professional body. We are unable to accept applicant's confirmation on supervision.
