报了tax，可是来不及看书了想defer，可是已经错过deadline了，还可以defer吗？我记得以前defer是没有deadline的，现在变了？我记得之前有同学没去考试，过了考试日期还defer过一次，现在变了？

9月2号 是 defer 的期限
如果就是不想考，考试当天装病，去医院开个 certificate，联系CPA 申请 special condition，交钱 defer 到下学期

现在defer都这么麻烦了呀。。。记得之前的同学考试那天没去都可以defer，根本没有deadline，也不需要假条。。。CPA真麻烦！

yes - you can still apply to defer any time between now and right after the exam day
but you need to provide supporting document with your application
eg. letter of support from your employer stating that your studies have been seriously affected by the (unexpected) heavy work load this semester

Exam Deferral and Segment Cancellation Deadline - Haven't had time to study for your segment? Do you have work or family commitments late October? Travel plans? You may want to consider deferring your exam until Semester 1, 2014. For a fee, you can defer your segment enrolment online before midnight 2 September 2013.
