In this role, you will be responsible for:
Contributing as part of an Agile team to gain solid understanding of business requirements and help formulate them in the form of Scenarios and Feature Files
Designing and developing UI components in React
Testing your UI components using Unit and Visual Regression tests and documenting them on Storybook
Building RESTful APIs in the form of Domain Services in Java
Developing tests to verify and testing correct implementation of your Domain Services and Feature Files
Working closely with architects, technical leads, UX managers, product owners and analysts across distributed Agile teams to find efficient solutions to business requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:
3+ years’ industry Web development experience with React
3+ years’ experience in developing RESTful APIs in Java
Strong knowledge of ES2015 and different flavours of Javascript
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Data
Familiarity with Webpack, babel, linting and frontend build tools and processes
Familiarity with Maven
Experience with Unit, Integration and Visual Regression Testing
Comfortable with SASS & CSS3
Awareness of Test-Driven Development and Behaviour-Driven Development
Solid understanding of version control, continuous integration and deployment
Strong communication skills.
