Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in the stone industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of warehouse management processes, a strong background in the stone industry, and exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution of stone products.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operation and adherence to safety standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement inventory management best practices to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
• Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborate with sales, other departments, and logistics teams to streamline operations and improve overall service delivery.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational challenges to senior management.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the stone industry.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
Skills & Competencies:
• Deep knowledge of the stone industry, market trends, and competitors.
• Strong relationship-building skills with clients and industry professionals.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment (e.g. overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive working environment.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Valid licenses for operating various types of equipment
• Proficient in English and Chinese
