AMP has been voted Australia's worst superannuation fund in a new Choice magazine survey.
The consumer group's super satisfaction survey of 1402 super fund members found customers with public sector and government super funds were happiest with how their retirement money was being invested, while AMP members were the least satisfied.
State Super, Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme and QSuper were the top three Australian funds, all scoring well in overall client satisfaction, fees and charges, and customer service.
AMP was 17th and last on the Choice list scoring poorly in five out of seven categories including: overall satisfaction and investment performance.
Of the 380 retail fund members who responded to the survey, only 55 per cent said they were satisfied with their super fund's performance, with less than impressive customer service and financial advice at the top of their gripes.
