The index of community socio-educational advantage (ICSEA) was created by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) specifically to enable meaningful comparisons of National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) test achievement by students in schools across Australia. ICSEA should be interpreted with the assistance of our infographic contained in the About ICSEA fact sheet, the video explaining ICSEA and the Guide to understanding ICSEA values.

Key factors in students’ family backgrounds (parents’ occupation, school education and non-school education) have an influence on students’ educational outcomes at school. In addition to these student-level factors, research has shown that school-level factors (a school’s geographical location and the proportion of Indigenous students a school caters for) need to be considered when summarising educational advantage or disadvantage at the school level. ICSEA provides a scale that numerically represents the relative magnitude of this influence, and is constructed taking into account both student- and school-level factors.

三年级为止，靠前的学校，是不是好多学生去了别的学校的OC，导致五年级的排名靠后了？

注意这几个排名都要结合起来看

ICSEA排名前二十中，有十二所小学都是在三年级排名前二十的
其于八所三年级的成绩也基本都不差

到了五年级因为OC的影响，排名有了变动，但是三年级排名前二十的学校里面仍然有十所在五年级的时候仍然保持前十

有意思的是五年级排名前二十的学校中，有十所ICSEA排名前二十


可以看出家庭背景对（不管是否补习）的孩子的成绩很有重要的影响...所谓龙生龙？

我也没想到会这么厉害？不会搞错了吧。感觉学校不怎么抓学习啊，孩子上学这么久了，他班连sight words 表都没见发下来。好像全Kindy就一两个班发了。搞得我们这些妈妈们心里都挺j犯嘀咕，是不是老师给忘了啊？
