ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is responsible for developing and implementing OEM business plans to maximize the market potential and sales volume at both existing and new customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
· Develop annual business plans and execute them via monthly and quarterly reviews to management
· Implement relevant actions to meet the defined sales objectives, including yearly sales budget targets
· Proactively explore opportunities in the honey market and develop new customers of company products
· Analyze and seek a detailed understanding of the market needs, and organize appropriate marketing and sales activities to meet the customers’ needs
· Establish partnerships with local and oversea partners and drive sales/revenue
· Discuss detailed product requirements and scoping with the customers, properly document them, and work with the production team to implement the requirements
· Attend events, trade shows and other appropriate networking opportunities to extend and promote the company, our brand and products
Customer Relationship Management
· Manage all aspects of the customer relationship from quotation to after-sales support
· Maintain strong relationships with customers to achieve excellent levels of customer satisfaction
· Prioritize activity by analyzing the market segment potential and determining existing and potential customer’s value to the company
· Manage contract renewals, price strategies and commercial initiatives to drive growth target
· Maintain regular contact and productive communication with all involved parties including customers, manufacturing, marketing, accounting and management as appropriate
· Support manager to identify and specify brand positioning to create brand differentiation
· Monitor and analyse brand performance
· Manage ad work closely with TP/sales team/sales channels to monitor the implementation of marketing plans
· Manage all communication channels to ensure the alignment and implementation of brand positioning and marketing plans
· Collaborate with the sales team and external business partners for the implementation of marketing strategies to create a positive brand image
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Proven experience in honey production/industry or a manufacturing/FMCG sales role
· Extensive experience and demonstrated success in a sales or similar role, delivering high levels of customer service and successfully managing key customer relationships
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
· Exceptional interpersonal skills
· Project management skills
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
· A “hands-on” account management professional operating with a sense of ownership
· Ability to form effective relationships with existing and potential customers, employees/contractors and suppliers at all levels
· Keep up to date with developments in the industry, monitoring trends and developments
