无论你们身处何地，依然无法改变现有的天气；然而，你们的所有行动，却都在影响着全球的气候变化。
8月31日(周六)上午9点到下午4点，新西兰联合国协会将在怀卡托大学管理学院文化交流中心（Price Waterhouse Coopers Lecture Theatre），隆重举办2019年汉密尔顿中学生模拟联合国大会。
本届大会的议题是：如何缓解全球气候变化的负面影响。
通过参与模拟联合国大会活动，你们不但可以收获丰富的实践经验，还能认识到联合国成员们是如何讨论和磋商全球气候变化的议题的。

Calling High School Students
Wherever you go you take the weather but your effort can change the climate
The United Nations Association of New Zealand is organizing Model United Nations Assembly in Cooper Lecture Theatre Price-water House University of Waikato on 31 August 2009 (Saturday) 9.00 am to 4.00 pm for High School students that would help them gain practical experience and valuable exposure. Students also get an opportunity to learn how Climate change issue is debated in the UN and how they solve it by negotiation.
It is free and light lunch and morning and afternoon Tea & Coffee provided by the organization for the students.
This year's topic is: Minimising the Negative Effects of Climate Change.
We have requested Head of Department English, Geography and Social Science of schools to organize three teams of three students in each team to take part in the event.
