在投资物业中拥有Bosch Series 6。 It's less than 3 years old, but the warranty is only 2 years.
Tenant has reported it 'not working' or 'not turning on' (yes, I'm trying to get more details).
Looking for opinions on:
- whether it's worth claiming cost of repairs from Bosch under ACL because I think the useful life of a dishwasher should be closer to 8-10 years than under 3, and
- if it's better to get it fixed then claim back from Bosch or start with Bosch first, and
- how to go about claiming under ACL (I'm assuming the first response would be 'warranty period is over, go away').

ACL is by no means a slam dunk and if the company just says "No" then you do have options but in general its usually worth just getting it fixed

We have had similar issues which traced back to very minor issues:
blown fuse at switchboard,blown fuse in appliance,plug partially pulled from GPO,blocked filter, etc.Waste Bosch's time on a non-event and you will get a substantial call out fee.
Note that if the machine is "broken" because the tenant has left a 10c coin that has blocked the drainpipe etc. then you will be liable for the costs.
