根据2020年的VCE结果，墨尔本东部的部分公立和私立学校登上了全州表现最优秀的榜单。东区各个学校的学习成绩中位数已经公布。学习成绩中位数满分50分，显示了全年级在最后一年的表现。

Bialik College Hawthorn和Mount Scopus Memorial College Burwood排名居全州前列。
Bialik College的校长Jeremy Stowe-Lindner表示，他对该校被评为全州表现最好的学校感到高兴，该校VCE中位数为38分，39.9%的学生学习成绩达到40分以上。
Mount Scopus被评为全州表现第二好的学校，VCE中位数为38分，39.7%的学生学习成绩达到40分以上。

与此同时，东区多所学校，包括Loreto Mandeville Hall Toorak，Strathcona Baptist Girls Canterbury，Methodist Ladies College Kew，Presbyterian Ladies' College Burwood，Balwyn High，Box Hill High和Glen Waverley Secondary College等登上了维州排名前100的VCE学校榜单。
PLC校长Cheryl Penberthy向高考生发出了祝贺。
“每一年，我们的女孩们的成绩都相当优异，让我们非常自豪，今年尤其如此，女孩们在受到疫情的影响下，仍然取得了好成绩。”
