Monash IVF has transferred the wrong embryo into a Melbourne woman, in the second bungle admitted by the fertility giant in as many months.
In a statement to the ASX on Tuesday, Monash said a patient at their Clayton clinic was supposed to receive an embryo from her partner as they sought to have a baby, but instead had她自己的胚胎于6月5日转移给了她。

The mix-up had occurred at least a year earlier but was only discovered in February when the birth parents requested their remaining frozen embryos to be transferred to another IVF provider.
But instead of finding the expected number of embryos, an additional embryo remained in storage for the birth父母。
