New MPs have delivered their first speeches to the 48th parliament of Australia ahead of the first Question Time taking place on Wednesday.
Labor MP for Dickson Ali France, who unseated former opposition leader Peter Dutton, used her speech to honour her son, who passed away from leukemia and had encouraged her to get into politics.
