The Prime Minister’s office has confirmed Anthony Albanese held a phone call with the President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas overnight.

The Prime Minister reiterated Australia’s call for the immediate entry of aid to meet the needs of the people of Gaza, a permanent ceasefire, and the release of all hostages.

Anthony Albanese also stressed his commitment to a two-state解决方案。
