Your role within the team
Work within the logistics team to deliver key logistics capabilities, enhance transport relationships and continuously improve our logistics efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare International transport planning monthly and communicate with both internal and external stakeholder
Prepare international shipping documents for custom clearance
Deliver key logistics capabilities and efficiencies, manage strategic transport relationship and drive process excellence and achieve shipping document accuracy
Analyze aspects of the supply chain related to international logistics and provide solutions that will drive efficiencies and cost savings across the business
Work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure benchmark performance against all customer service deliverables – including DIFOT measures
Work closely with internal team minimized both operational and commercial risk at every opportunity
Desired Skills and Experience
To make sure we are setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
Tertiary qualification in mathematics, accounting, logistics or supply chain
Experience dealing with or operating international transport business
3 years in international freight, logistics & supply chain (experience at Dairy and Animal ingredients import export will be an advantage)
