Under Australia credit reporting system, from August 2015 banks will begin sharing whether you have made your payments with credit reporting bodies - Veda, Experian, and Dun & Bradstreet to give you a more balanced credit history.
These industry-wide changes allow credit providers (such as banks and credit unions) to share more of your credit history with credit reporting bodies and use this to help them determine your creditworthiness. The information about your banks accounts will be available on your credit report in the future.
Your credit report contains details of your credit applications and also lists any significant problems you may have had meeting repayments. Once all your credit providers begin sharing more information to the credit reporting bodies, your credit report will contain additional details of your open and closed consumer credit accounts, including credit limits and up to two years repayment history.
