孩子是16年7月出生，现在6岁半，打算今年下半年到悉尼，请问明年1月份时（7岁半）可以选择入读一年级吗？还是必须只能读二年级呢？

公立明年应该是必须2年级吧。我家老二16年的，现在2年级，他们班最大的小孩是15年3月的，最小的16年7月。
私立就不了解了…
