I was wondering how many people have BYD batteries attached to their solar.
A mate of mine got 11kw yesterday (with room to grow on the concrete pad) and a new 3 phase inverter.

I have a Gen 24 plus inverter and a 6.65kw system as that is all that would fit on the roof, I just have a small unit.

I don't fully cycle my battery each night and only getting into the ~35% mark at this time of year so this looks like a calibration issue only and once the battery has been cycled a few times after this it seems to all align again

I'm really close to pulling the lever on getting a BYD battery installed (with a new Gen24 inverter, alongside my existing Fronius Primo).
Does the BYD battery need internet connectivity, or can you do "everything you need" via the fronius integration (or via modbus itself, perhaps using Home Assistant)?
I already have a Fronius Smart Meter, if that makes any difference.
