It looks fairly straightforward but unfortunately the functionality looks quite limited compared to the amount of controls available via the app. You can only manually control the pump flow rate and read some information about errors, but that's probably enough to circulate water.

I believe the app is Tuya based even though they don't advertise it, which means there is a chance that the pump contains a TYWExS chip, which mean you could flash it with Tasmota and skip the whole modbus thing to gain local control.
