Labor has bucked the trend of first term governments and extended its lead at the Federal Election, but the full reality of the Liberal Party's wipeout is becoming increasingly clear.
At the latest count, Labor has secured 86 seats to the Coalition's 37, which will deliver Prime Minister Anthony Albanese a whopping majority of at least 11.
