Greens leader Adam Bandt has been evicted from Parliament House as Sky News declares victory for Labor candidate Sarah Witty.
Mr Bandt will not return for the 48th Parliament of Australia, ending a 14-year run and capping off a Greens wipeout in the House of Representatives.

Sky News Chief Election Analyst Tom Connell confirmed at 3.30pm on Wednesday that the seat would fall in the Labor Party's favour.
“The Labor Party will now pick up the seat of Melbourne and Adam Bandt, the Greens leader, will lose the seat,” he said.
The loss means the Greens will need to elect a new parliamentary leader—with Senators Sarah汉森·杨（Hanson-Young）和梅赫林·法鲁奇（Mehreen Faruqi）被视为潜在的候选人。
