Environment Minister Murray Watt discusses the approval of a wind farm on Robbins Island off northwest Tasmania.
The facility will be the largest in the state, generating up to 900 megawatts of power.
Mr Watt told Sky News Australia the project's aim is to avoid “impacts” on critically endangered species in the area.
