floraz说的是对的，但是违规了，咱们俩各扣她20分算了
jew在作为形容词的时候是一个贬义和敌视的形容词，比如jew parking
jewish则是正常的、中性的，jewish people，jewish tradition等都是正常的用法
由于犹太人在历史上受到的种种遭遇，特别是二战以后，对他们的直接的、赤裸裸的歧视很少见了，但是要歧视的人总会找到办法的。把jew这个名词当形容词用，这样来跟正常的jewish区分开，正是他们的小把戏。我们不去歧视别人，但还是要知道这些词的准确含义，最保险的办法就是总是用jewish，根本就不要用jew就行了

作为形容词俺不知道。但是作为名词，我感觉，说犹太人是Jew就等于说中国人是Chink。遇到脾气不好的非打起来不可。Jewish就是中性官称了。

称犹太人为JEW类似称日本人为JAP，有歧视的味道，不过其实不算特别严重。熟人间开玩笑用用可以，如果和对方不熟或者对方是很严肃的那种人还是尽量别用。

Chinaman 用来指中国人也是带有贬低歧视意思

这个词很有意思，少数人知道这是个对中国人歧视的词；多数人其实不知道，还以为这跟Frenchman一样就是个alternative的指中国人的词。所以我现在也不知道要是自己听到了Chinaman该怎么反应

jew带有很多歧视色彩。一看到这个词就想到他们奇怪的宗教色彩和生活方式。看到jewish又好像看到有钱人赫赫

words are like bullets, they are not dangerous or offensive(not discriminatory in this instance) until you fire them.

Of course there are puns, sarcasms, and occasional quick wins which can take one word and make it totally mean something else, but it's still hard to argue that if I call a black person a nigger or a boxer a palooka, the word itself doesn't already mean something bad, and my attitude will dictate what i meant.
Instead of having a philosophical debate on if a bullet is evil by nature, I think I'm trying to make sure people can tell a bullet from a multi-purpose tool here. That said, you are more than welcome to contribute to the English Study forum as a level of your choosing, as we are in dare need of people who are already enlightened.

I think it’s still possible (if not likely) that some people would feel offended if you unwittingly said something disparaging or derogatory.
Some words do carry the power of a “bullet” themselves when they are fired regardless the intention of the “shooter”. These words were developed in certain circs so that they were born with negative impact.
