The emerald city was the fictional city in the land of Oz that was home to the famous wizard of Oz. In the famous story ,written by Frank L Baum in the early 1900s,visitors to the city had to wear special green spectacles so that the brightness and glory of the city would not blind them.
Emerald City is a 1988 film directed by Michael Jenkins, an adaptation of the play of the same name about life in Sydney. The play is written by David Williamson.
Nicole Mary Kidman was in the film.
