XX has been known to me for about 12 months in circumstances where he has been working most mornings in a part-time capacity in a café to further fund his university studies. I happen to know he also works on weekends.
It was through this meeting he came to learn I was a barrister and he expressed an interest in transferring from his current degree into a combined law degree. He asked me in a totally proper manner whether there was any available internship work during his forthcoming university holidays.I considered his request, and given his immaculate presentation, good manner and enthusiasm I agreed to offer him some work.
Although he had no legal training, I selected for him to work on a couple of factually very complex matters in order to explore his exercise of logic.
He was with me for about a month, and he impressed with his enthusiasm and intellectual capacity. His work far exceeded any expectation I had of him.
At this stage, he has not commenced a law degree, and it remains to be seen whether the study of law suits him. However, I was so impressed by his work ethic, common sense and interest that I offered him the opportunity of part time work once he is a little further into his degree.
I would recommend XX to any employer. He has demonstrated versatility, punctuality, fine presentation demonstrated common sense and intellectual aptitude. Unlike some other applicants, he has no sense of entitlement. I have little doubt he will excel in any chosen field or vocation.

象加分题。象我这种都没有面试的，有雇主推荐信也没用啊。如果雇主有三个候选人，这个时候你就把雇主推荐信发给信雇主吗？需要等到新雇主问你要？还是你主动发给新雇主？

我觉得这是在雇主觉得面试还可以，但要查reference的时候用的，其实作用跟推荐人打个电话差不多的啦
