Oyster Bay has gained popularity and shot up the list of top sellers’ suburbs, moving from ninth position to number one since March. North Rocks and Freshwater have maintained popularity and their position in the top five suburbs over the last three months, while the suburbs of Bondi, Lilyfield, Pennant Hills, Stanmore and Artarmon enter as newcomers to the list. Warren McCarthy from McGrath Real Estate says that Oyster Bay coming in at number one is no surprise and that popularity and demand for property in the area grown over the last three months. “Oyster Bay is a leafy bay area, where buyers find a quieter lifestyle and escape, only 40 minutes from the city. It has great local schools, a tight community and is close to public transport,” he said.
