it depends on the total value of the land of your investment properties... I think the threshold was $250K, not sure how much it is now

you could argue for a lower rate if you believe the base they use is too high, of course you need proof to back yourself up

the things is they are using land value which I have no idea about it, there is no vacant land for old suburbs for many years already

you should be able to see the land value of your investment property on the bill of council rate.
